Flat Earth Brewing Company - Northwest Passage IPA; Angry Planet Pale Ale

The Flat Earth Brewing Company is in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Northwest Passage IPA - This 6.5% ABV beer pours copper colored with a huge billowy head and champagne-like carbonation.  The aroma is malty, yeasty and zesty.  The taste has a spicy yeastiness, some tea and biscuits, and a very bitter and dry finish.  This is most like a Belgian style IPA due to its large yeastiness.

Angry Planet Pale Ale - This 6.0% ABV beer pours medium to dark brown, translucent, bright with a hint of ruby.  The head is thick, foamy and off-white.  The aroma is nutty malt and tangy fruit.  The taste is nutty, slightly fruity and tangy.  This is reminiscent of a really good English or Scottish nut brown ale.  Drinks fresh and clean and tasty.  This is a winner!
