Ellicottville Brewing Company American Pale Ale

The Ellicottville Brewing Company is out of Ellicottville, New York.  This is number 1300 on my beer list.

This pours a light copper color.  The aroma has malt, sweetness, fruit, and hops.  The flavor is lighter than I expected from the aroma, a definite fruity malt sweetness and some floral hops with slight bitterness on the finish.  The flavor is good, it just seems to lack something in its weight.

According to the bottle this is contract brewed for Ellicottville by Southern Tier Brewing of Lakewood, New York.
