Yuengling Traditional Lager

Yuengling is the oldest family owned brewery in the United States, and is located in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. 

The beer pours copper and amber in color. There is an inch of white to off-white head that fizzles down to a thin layer. The aroma is malty, some caramel and toffee, some cooked vegetable, with a bit of a tangy note. The taste is bright and malty, with a bit of the cooked vegetable. The flavor comes off more balanced than the aroma. There is some sweetness, then a mostly dry finish, that has light bitterness. The beer drinks easy, with crisp and refreshing carbonation.
