Alaskan Amber Ale

This 5.3% amber ale is from the Alaskan Brewing Company of Juneau, Alaska.

The beer pours a deep amber and copper in color. There is a half-inch of light tan head. The aroma is caramel, toffee, and a bit of dark fruit or berry. The taste follows the aromas, nice sweet malt. The finish is as dry as it is sweet and lightly bitter. The beer drinks smooth, with soft to moderate carbonation. This is a nice, solid amber ale.
