Backpocket Pucker Up Right Meow

This is, I believe, the first sour beer from the Backpocket Brewing Company of Coralville, Iowa. They now also have locations in Cedar Rapids and Dubuque.

The beer pours a cloudy purplish-pink. There is nearly an inch of light pink foam. The aroma is musky, funky, earthy, with some mango skin. The taste is tart, earthy, funky, with a lot of tart cherry. The finish is dry and tart, light bitterness. The beer drinks easy, smooth, with moderate carbonation.
