Elysian Loser

This is a 7.0% ABV pale ale from the Elysian Brewing Company of Seattle, Washington. It celebrates Sub Pop records.

The beer pours a dark amber, with tones of brown and orange. There is a half-inch of off-white bubbly head. The aroma is very light tropical fruit over toasted caramel malt. The tastes follows the aromas, tart and tangy fruit over caramel malt, with a tangy and bitter finish like biting into the flesh of a grapefruit. The beer drinks easy with a tingling carbonation. A solid pale ale, good flavors, but mild and quaffable, and not generating too much to say about it.
