Brau Brothers White Cap Wit

This "Crystal Wit Bier" is from the Brau Brothers Brewing Company originating in Lucan, Minnesota, but now of Marshall, Minnesota. As is common in Belgian-style wit biers, it uses coriander and orange peel in the brewing.

The beer pours a light amber in color. There is about a half-inch of white foam. The aroma is malty, toasted, some spices, with a light citrus. There is both sweetness and tartness, along with the toasted notes. The taste follows the aromas, hitting all the same notes. The beer drinks with a tingling and refreshing carbonation. The flavors are nice, the only drawback is a slight wateriness in the mouthfeel. This does not taste entirely like a traditional wit bier, it is much more malty, but I am liking that aspect of it.
