Warsteiner Premium Verum

This 4.8% pilsener beer is from the Warsteiner brewery in Warstein, Germany.

The beer pours a pale yellow golden in color. There is a tall head of white foam. The aroma is golden grain, cracked dry corn, straw, with classic German lager funk. The taste follows the aromas directly, lots of grain and straw, touch of honey bread sweetness, followed immediately by a dry finish that is lightly floral, grassy and moderately bitter. This is a nice classic German pils.
