Lagunitas IPA

This 6.2% ABV India Pale Ale is from the Lagunitas Brewing Company of Petaluma, California. Their motto on the bottle? Life is uncertain, don't sip!

The beer pours an orange honey golden in color. There is an inch of thick, foamy, off-white head. The aroma is dank, with light tropical fruit and citrus. The taste follows the aromas, ending in a passion fruit skin and grapefruit rind moderate bitterness. This beer is all about the hops, but there is enough nicely toasted malt to hold them all up and let them shine. It is medium bodied and refreshingly carbonated. An all around solid IPA worth repeating.
