Balashi Special

This 5.0% ABV beer is from the Balashi Brewery (Brouwerij Nacional Balashi) of Aruba. The beer pours a dark golden in color with a half inch of pure white foamy head. The aroma is lightly sweet, corn, light straw, with a bit of mineral chalkiness. The taste follows the aromas, slightly sweet with almost no bitterness on the end, but a bit of an off note in the finish. A tolerable lager.
