New Belgium Sunshine

This 4.8% ABV Belgian-style wheat beer is a new release from New Belgium Brewing of Fort Collins, Colorado. They have  had four new releases this spring, and they all begin with "S"; Snapshot, Sunshine, Spring Blonde and Summer Helles.

In the Belgian Wit style, this beer is brewed with coriander and orange peel. The beer pours a pale yellow golden in color, just a touch of haze. There is a pure white head of foam. The aroma is clean toasted wheat, coriander, citrus, light orange, true to its ingredient list. The taste is the same, a solid base of toasted wheat that holds up spiced coriander and citrus notes. The beer is medium-bodied, both smooth and carbonated. This is a solid and very drinkable American take on a Belgian-style wheat.
