Empyrean Watch Man IPA

The Empyrean Brewing Company is in Lincoln, Nebraska. The name?  According to the website:  Serving as an ancient navigational pointer and constructed from unworked stones in the likeness of a human, Inukshuk means "you are on the right path."

The beer pours a dark orange and honey golden. There is a short and thin off-white head. The aroma is very slight for an IPA, very light orange, grass and malt. The taste is the same as the aroma, light orange, grass and malt, with a fairly bitter finish. This drinks more like an English IPA than a typical American hop forward IPA.
