Breckenridge Brewery After Rakin' Autumn Ale

The Breckenridge Brewery is in Denver, Colorado. I figured I better get to this 6.7% ABV before it officially turned to winter. The beer pours a deep mahogany in color, dark brown to black. There is a short and short lived head of light brown. The aroma is malty, roasted and toasted with a bit of caramel sweetness and a tang from the hops.  The taste follows the aromas directly, dark roasted and toasted malt, caramel, some sweetness, but with a fruity and hoppy twang on the finish. It feels light in the mouth with adequate carbonation. It has a very roasted aftertaste. Nice!
