Bell's Wedding Ale

This 8.0% ABV ale is brewed with pale and wheat malts, and honey, coriander and orange peel. It is only available at the brewery. It is from  Bell's Brewing Company of Kalamazoo, Michigan. This bottle is number 339 of 1340. It is batch number 11,277.

The beer pours a deep honey golden and apricot in color. There is a thin, bubbly white head. The aroma is like reading the ingredient list with your nose, toasted malt and wheat, orange, coriander, honey along with a light lemony note. The taste follows the aromas directly. It is gorgeous and sublime. This is toast with a light sheen of honey, orange marmalade and lemon curd. It drinks light, but with flavor, and just a tingle of carbonation. As it warms, so does the alcohol. There is a light bitterness on the finish, moderately dry. This is a very nice beer.
