Stillwater Artisanal Ales is based in Baltimore, Maryland. It appears that they are gypsy or contract brewed, as this bottle was brewed and bottled by Westbrook Brewing Company of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. It is 4.5% ABV and is described on the bottle as a Post Prohibition Style Ale.
The beer pours a hazy golden and yellow in color. There is a tall head of thick and foamy white head. The aroma is funky, yeasty, tart, floral (lots of marigold and geranium). The taste follows the aromas, lots of floral, and with a very bitter and dry finish.
