Omission Handcrafted Pale Ale

Omission beers are brewed by Widmer Brothers Brewing Company of Portland, Oregon. This beer is 5.8% ABV. The beer pours amber and copper in color. There is a short head of off-white foam, somewhat creamy. The aroma is lightly fruity, strawberries and plums, some tea with lemon. The taste is lightly malty, a touch of caramel, lots of tea with lemon, with a moderately bitter and dry finish. It drinks light and easy. This is a well done English style pale ale.

I drank the beer before I realized that was it "omitted" from Omission beers is the gluten. For a gluten free beer, this is damn fine. I have not liked most of the gluten free beers I have tried.
