Founding Fathers Light Beer

Founding Fathers Brewing Company is from Latrobe, Pennsylvania, which would indicate it is contract brewed by City Brewing.  "Keeping America Strong One Beer at a Time." Fifty percent of all the profits are donated to families of those serving in the U.S. military.

The light has 108 calories and pours a dark golden yellow with a large white head. The foam disappears rapidly. The aroma is slightly sweet, slightly sour, cooked corn and green apple. This is not a good start. The taste follows the aromas, with just enough hops to add some dryness to the finish. It is well carbonated with a crisp mouthfeel. That is the biggest positive of this beer. The aftertaste is better than the original flavor as some of the sourness cuts off. This is a pretty bad beer, if you want to support the worthy cause, buy the regular Lager, it is much better than the light.
