This 7.8% ABV beer is a special release, and pours a reddish-copper in color. There is a short head of somewhat creamy off-white foam. The aroma is malty, caramel, zesty, tea with lemon. The taste is a tenuous balance of malt and hops, wobbling towards the malty side. Malty, caramel, strong tea with lemon. The finish is smooth, malty, tart, fruity and bitter all at once.
