This 8.2% ABV beer pours copper/amber in color with a quarter-inch of off-white head that dissipates fairly rapidly. The aroma is fruity and aromatic, cherries and jasmine tea. The taste is malty for a DIPA, perhaps this bottle is not as fresh as it could be. The taste is spicy, rye bread and slightly burnt sugar with a finish that is both somewhat sweet and dry and bitter at the same time.
