This 7.6% ABV unfiltered double India Pale Ale is from the Exile Brewing Company of Des Moines, Iowa. It is made with Mosaic, Simcoe, and Lemondrop hops.
The beer pours a a very hazy orange yellow, like light orange juice. There is over an inch of thick, white, foaming head. The aroma is musky and dank, along with bright lemon. The taste follows the aromas, musky and dank, nice bright lemon, with some subdued very ripe tropical fruits in the background. The finish is moderately bitter, with a bit of grapefruit quench. The beer drinks soft and smooth with tingling carbonation.
