Surly The Rye Wolf IPA

This 6.4% ABV India Pale Ale made with rye is from the Surly Brewing Company of Brooklyn Center (and now Minneapolis), Minnesota. 

The beer pours a dark golden to light copper in color. There is an inch of white to off-white head that leaves sticky lacing. The aroma has the spicy, burnt toast note of rye, along with notes of fruit. The taste follows the aromas, fruity, spicy, toasty. The finish is quite bitter. The beer has strong flavors, yet drinks very easy.
