Peace Tree Sunny

This pale golden session ale is from the Peace Tree Brewing Company in Knoxville, Iowa (and now Des Moines). Their location in Des Moines is in the East Village neighborhood.

The beer pours a clear golden in color, almost champagne-like. There is nearly an inch of white fizzing head that quickly bubbles down to nothing. The aroma is toasted wheat, light fruit, light citrus, light floral. The taste follows the aromas, hitting the same notes, with light banana and clove coming on the back end. The beer drinks very easy, light, and refreshing.
