The beer pours a very dark amber,
notes of brown. There is a half-inch of light tan head. The aroma is
bright, malty, tangy, fruity, caramel. The taste follows the aromas,
but amps the sweetness and caramel up a big notch. However, despite
all the malty sweetness, it does have enough hops to bring it to a
semi-bitter finish. The beer has a body big enough to hold up its
large flavors, but without being heavy. It drinks smooth, with
tingling carbonation. There is a light fruitiness and hoppiness in
the aftertaste. This is a tasty and interesting beer.
