Exile Cool Out Tropical Stout

This 7.0% ABV stout is from the Exile Brewing Company  of Des Moines, Iowa. 

The beer pours a very dark brown to black. There is a very short head of tan foam. The aroma is dark roasted malt, char, chocolate, with a light note of dried dark fruits. The taste follows the aromas, but is much bigger and more forward, hitting the variety of dark roasted malt notes. There is some sweetness, but the finish is fairly dry and bitter. The beer drinks easy, smooth. This is a tasty stout.
