The beer pours a dark brown. There is a
half-inch of light tan foaming head. The aroma is malty, caramel,
with a bit of dark fruit and light peat. The taste follows the
aromas, but is fairly light. There is sweetness, but the finish is
just on the dry side. The bitterness is mild. The beer drinks easy.
This is like a Scottish-style session beer.
