The beer pours a dark copper and deep
amber in color. There is over an inch of off-white to very light tan
foam head. The aroma is malty, caramel, plum, a touch of nuttiness,
with a grassy finish. The taste follows the aromas, very nice
maltiness, that comes to a grassy bitter finish. There is sweetness,
but the finish is dry. The beer drinks easy, a bit smooth, with
tingling carbonation. This is a nice Oktoberfest take.
