Carroll Brewing Rose

This 4.4% ABV beer brewed with hibiscus is from the Carroll Brewing Company of Carroll, Iowa.

The beer pours salmon pink with a half-inch of pink-tinted white foam head. The aroma is lightly fruity and hibiscus with a lagerish background note. The taste follows the aromas, mild and light, slight tang on the finish. The end is mostly dry. It is a bit akin to a very light and dry rose wine, but carbonated and quite refreshing.
