Rogue Farms 7 Hop IPA

This IPA from Rogue Ales of Newport, Oregon is 8.02% ABV and 90 IBU's. It uses seven varieties of hops grown on Rogue's own farm in Independence, Oregon (Liberty, Newport, Revolution, Rebel, Independent, Freedom, and Alluvial hops).

 The beer pours clear, dark copper in color. There is about an inch of thick off-white to very light tan foam. It leaves a heavy curtain of lacing down the glass. The aroma is oranges, passion fruit, very light pine. The taste is oranges, melons, mango, tropical fruit, with a tangy, piney bitterness. The beer is medium bodied and drinks exceedingly smooth.
