Bud Light & Clamato Chelada

This is the chelada take on Bud Light  from Anheuser-Busch of St. Louis, Missouri.  Brewing since 1860, they are now owned by InBev, a Belgian company. This salt, lime, beer and tomato juice concoction uses Clamato in this instance.

The beer pours, like you would expect, the color of part Bud Light and part Clamato juice. There is an inch of fizzing head, but it bubbles down even before a picture can be snapped. The aroma is lightly spicy tomato juice with some tangible salt and lime. A pleasant mild heat comes in after a few drinks. The taste follows the aromas, this is exactly what it is supposed to be, and not a bad canned chelada. I'd rather have it than plain Bud Light any day.
