Alaskan Heritage Coffee Brown

This 7.0% ABV brown ale brewed with Heritage coffee is from the Alaskan Brewing Company of Juneau, Alaska (as is Heritage coffee).

The beer pours dark brown. There is a short head of light tan foam. The aroma is full of cold press coffee, with an underlying sweet, roasted maltiness. The taste follows the aromas directly, full of complementary sweet malt and fresh pressed coffee. The finish is sweet, with a light coffee bitterness. The beer has just the right body to hold up all its flavor, without being heavy. This is a nice coffee ale.
