Samuel Adams Belgian Session

The Samuel Adams line of beers are from the Boston Brewing Company of Boston, Massachusetts. This is a 4.3% ABV Belgian inspired sessionable beer. It is part of the summer variety pack.

The beer pours a crystal clear, gleaming, copper and amber. There is a half-inch of white head that disappears relatively quickly. The aroma is yeasty esters, banana, clove, candi sugar maltiness. The taste follows the aromas, lots of yeast ester over caramel roll malt, like a banana pastry. The beer drinks smooth and medium bodied. The finish is dry with light bitterness. This is really well done and very flavorful.
