Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss

Leinenkugel's Brewing Company is from  Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.  They began brewing in 1867. Leinenkugel's has been owned by Miller for some time now. This is a 4.9% ABV wheat beer brewed with Wisconsin honey.

The beer pours a clear yellow and gold in color, well carbonated. There is a half inch of fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is light golden toasted grain, a touch of honey, bread dough. The taste follows the aromas, adds in a touch of lager funk, with some grass and light tart on the dry finish. The beer drinks easy and light with crisp carbonation. This is a nice, light, refreshing beer.
