Boulevard Tropical Pale Ale

This 5.9% ABV pale ale brewed with passion fruit and grapefruit is from Boulevard Brewing of Kansas City, Missouri. It is one of their newer releases.

The beer pours a gleaming deep golden in color. There is a tall and thick head of foamy white. The aroma is heavy on the passion fruit and grapefruit, zesty and refreshing. The taste follows the aromas, passion fruit and grapefruit over toasted grain, with a fairly bitter finish, astringent, grapefruit rind. The beer drinks smooth, crisp, refreshing. This makes for a good, flavorful, summer drinker.
