The beer pours amber colored with a half-inch of raggedly
foamy off-white head. The aroma is malty, fruity and a bit nutty, with some
caramel. The taste follows the aromas, malty, notes of dark fruits and berries,
followed by a nutty note that is even stronger than in the aroma. Behind it all
is a sweet and silky caramel. However, the end has enough hops to be dry with a
moderate bitterness. The beer drinks light and easy with a moderate to tingling
carbonation. This is a nice, drinkable malty beer.
