Boulder Emergent White IPA

This is a 6.1% ABV India Pale Ale brewed with coriander and orange peel. It is from the Boulder Beer Company of Boulder, Colorado. 

The beer pours lightly hazed, golden yellow. There is a very tall, bubbly, foaming, white head. The aroma is yeast, flowers, coriander. The taste follows the aromas, hitting the same notes, very floral and yeasty, with a bit of citrus tang. The beer has a quite dry finish, and a moderate to strong floral bitterness. The beer drinks easy, crisp, carbonated. They call this a white IPA, but it drinks as much like a hopped-up saison.
