Bent River Undercurrent IPA

This India Pale Ale has 68 IBU's and is 6.8% ABV. It uses Citra, Warrior, Cascade, Centennial, and Columbus hops. It is from the Bent River Brewing Company of Rock Island, Illinois (original brewpub in Moline, Illinois). Their motto: Get Bent!

The beer pours a dark amber in color, darker than most IPA’s. There is a tall, thickly ragged head of off-white foam. The aroma is malty, orange and caramel. The taste is orange, caramel, with a grapefruit rind bitter finish. The beer drinks medium bodied, smooth, and dry. Not hop forward, but very pleasant.
