Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin

The beer pours orange and apricot in color. There is a tall head of white foam. The aroma is tangy and zesty grapefruit juice over citrus and bitter hops. The taste is pure, bright, tangy grapefruit juice over bitter hops, with toasted malt coming through in the background. The finish is dry and fairly bitter. The beer drinks with a crisp carbonation. If you like grapefruit juice and IPA’s, here’s your man, if not, you better avoid.
