The beer pours an orange tinted dark golden and apricot in
color. There is a tall, thick and somewhat creamy head of white foam. It does
leave some layers of sticky lacing down the glass. The aroma is bright citrus,
tropical fruits, and a bit of pine. The taste is luscious tropical fruits
paired with bright and tangy citrus, over smooth malt. The finish is decidedly
bitter, but in the refreshing way of fresh grapefruit juice or tonic. The beer
drinks nicely carbonated and refreshing. The blast of fruit flavors in this
beer is amazing.
2015 Brewhub version:
The beer pours a deep golden in color. There is a tall, thick, foamy, head of white
that leaves sedimentary layers of sticky lacing on the glass. The aroma is a
pleasant and pungent blast of mango, citrus, and guava, with a bit of earthy
dankness woven in. The taste follows the aromas, lots of tropical fruits, full,
lush, round, and very ripe. There is also tangy, zesty, crisp citrus, and also
the lighter note of earthy, dank, muskiness. The finish is fairly bitter with a
grapefruit blast of oil squeezed from rind. The beer drinks medium bodied,
smooth, with a tingle of carbonation. This is magical!
