Indeed Double Day Tripper

This double pale ale is a bulked up and beefed up version of  Day Tripper Pale Ale. It is 8.0% ABV and 90 IBU's and is from the Indeed Brewing Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Like several other recent and brand new brewers in the Twin Cities, they are located in Northeast Minneapolis. They are a member of 1% for the planet, a global alliance of businesses that donate one percent of their gross revenue to organizations that help preserve and restore the natural environment.

The beer pours a deep, yet warmly glowing, copper in color. There is over an inch of thick, somewhat creamy, off-white foam. The aroma is full of earthy, musky, dankness, pine, and some tropical fruit in the background. The taste is intensely dank (like liquid marijuana here folks), but tempered with some sweet and tart, full, ripe tropical fruits and caramel malt in the back of it. It is very dry and fairly bitter, but in a smooth, cottony way. This beer is out of this world.
