Firestone Walker Opal

This is a 7.5% ABV dry hopped saison farmhouse-style ale from Firestone Walker Brewing Company of Paso Robles, California.

The beer pours a bright yellow and golden, with a bit of haze. There is a tall, pure white head of foam. The aroma is fruity, pears, floral, estery. The taste follows the aromas, but is less sweet, although no less fruity, more crisp, with a touch of dankness, I am assuming from the dry hopping. It drinks crisp and refreshing, with a nice, fine carbonation. Not a lot to say about this except that it is really, really good.
