Ale Syndicate Sunday Session

The bottle describes this 4.8% ABV as a hopped-up session ale. It has a mild 23 IBU's and comes from Ale Syndicate Brewers. While the bottle says they are all about Chicago, it is contract brewed in Breese, Illinois (see the comment of the brewery below, as of July they are brewing in Chicago, many breweries get up and running through contract brewing).

The beer pours golden to honey golden in color. There is a very tall head of white foam. The aroma is lemony, citrusy, light mango flesh, over crackery malt. The taste follows the aromas, mellow, but tasty. It is crisply carbonated and refreshing. Aptly named, a good session beer.

  1. Hey - thanks for the review! We're glad you enjoyed Sunday Session. Just a note, we just started brewing in our own space in Logan Square this July. We will continue to work with our partner brewery in Breese, IL (Excel Packaging) to produce Municipal and Sunday Session in the time being, but hope to move everything to our Chicago brewery in the next 12-18 months. Cheers!
