New Belgium FOCOllaboration

This 6.7% ABV American pale ale is a collaboration of two Fort Collins, Colorado brewers (figured out how it got its name yet?); New Belgium Brewing and Odell Brewing. It is release number six in New Belgium's Hop Kitchen series.

The beer pours an amber, copper, dark apricot in color. There is a very tall head of somewhat thick off-white foam. The aroma is waves of tropical fruit, some dankness, toasted caramel malt, mango, pine, citrus. The taste follows the aromas and adds in some passion fruit. It is medium bodied with a nice tingle of carbonation. It drinks pleasant and easy. The finish is only moderately bitter. This is so very, very good, and only $4.99 for a 22 oz. bottle. Amazing! This was a hard beer to find due to its apparent limited quantities, I wish they would make a ton of it.
