Great Divide Peach Grand Cru

This is a limited release from the Great Divide Brewing Company of Denver, Colorado. It is a 12.0% ABV Belgian-style ale and is brewed with fresh ripened Palisade Colorado Peaches. 

The beer pours a gleaming copper and amber in color. There is a relatively short head of off-white foam. The aroma is somewhat vinous, like a soft, round, buttery chardonnay, with tangy fruit notes, and peaches. The taste is like biting into a fresh, perfectly ripe peach. The aroma is more vinous than peach, the taste is mostly peach and just a bit vinous. I have had a few peach beers, this is the most elegantly and deliciously peachy of the bunch.
