This 6.5% ABV India Pale Ale is from the Thirsty Dog Brewing Company of Akron, Ohio.
The beer pours dark honey golden with an orange tint. There is a short head of white foam. The aroma is dank and musky hops, passion fruit, light mango skin. Mine must be old because I am not getting much of the fruit usually associated with Citra, but it still smells good. The taste follows the aromas, with a moderately bitter finish. There is toasted malt underlying the hops. It is medium bodied with refreshing, but not obtrusive, carbonation. Anyone had this fresh? What is it like? Because this one drinks great as long as you are a fan of those dank, earthy, musky type hops.
