The beer pours a cloudy amber and burnt orange in color.
There is a very tall, foamy, bubbling, light tan head. The aroma is tart,
vinous, woody, with a low pepper heat.
The taste follows the aromas, tart, fruity, vinous, a bit of wood, with
a hot, tingling burn, that affects the lips more than the mouth, and leaves a
wave of heat down the back of the throat. Definitely hot, but manageable if you
really like spicy things. This is light years better than Stone’s Crime and
Punishment.
