Samuel Adams Rebel IPA

This 6.5% ABV beer is Samuel Adam's take on a West Coast style IPA. It is brewed with five varieties of West Coast hops, Cascade, Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook and Amarillo. 

The beer pours a clear and bright copper in color. There is a short off-white head. The aroma is zesty citrus and passion fruit. The taste follows the aromas, citrusy, on top of a toasted crackery base. It is medium bodied with a crisp carbonation, and a quite bitter finish. A nice beer, but it will leave the true West Coast IPA fan wanting something more.
