The Fort Collins Brewery is, not surprisingly, in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is a 7.5% ABV Imperial Extra Pale Ale. The beer pours a hazy dark honey golden in color. There is a short and short-lived head of white to off-white foam. The aroma is malty, semi-sweet, orange, floral. The taste has a tangy citrus, some grapefruit, over ample caramel malt. It is medium to nearly full bodied, with a moderate bitterness. It has an extremely tangy finish, with a lingering grapefruit zest.
