Leinenkugel's Hoppin' Helles

Leinenkugel's Brewing Company is from  Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.  They began brewing in 1867. Leinenkugel's has been owned by Miller for some time now (who is now owned by MolsonCoors). This is a 5.5% ABV helles lager brewed with five varieties of hops that include Simcoe and Citra.

The beer pours dark golden, with honey and orange tints. There is a tall, very thick head of pure white foam. The aroma is zesty, citrusy, floral, grassy, crackers and bread dough.  The taste follows the aromas, adding in golden toasted grain, a tangy note, followed by a bitter finish. It is well carbonated and very refreshing. This is highly drinkable.
