Fuller's Bengal Lancer India Pale Ale

Fuller's is from London, England by the Fuller, Turner and Smith Griffin Brewery, since 1845. A relative youngster by the standards of English history. This is a 5.3% ABV bottle conditioned India Pale Ale.

The beer pours a light and clear copper in color. There is about an inch of white and fizzy, foamy head. The aroma has light fruit, light flowers, toasted malt and a yeasty tang. The taste is toasted malt, lightly yeasty, lightly fruity and tangy, grassy, with a moderate bitterness and a very dry finish. It drinks very refreshing in a tonic type of way. This is subtle, but delicious. A nice, very drinkable English style IPA.
