Samuel Adams Alpine Spring

This Samuel Adams beer is from the Boston Beer Company of Boston, Massachusetts. I am making my way through their Spring Thaw Variety pack, thus the reason for so many Sam Adams reviews as of late.

This 5.5% ABV beer is an unfiltered lager (kellerbier) brewed with Noble Tettnang hops that are supposed to impart citrusy flavors. The beer pours cloudy, with some sediment particles. It is dark honey golden in color with some orange. There is an inch of white foamy head. The aroma is grain, lemon, honey, grassy. The taste is grain, lemon, grassy, a tinge of honey with a bitter finish. It is nice and refreshing.
